Husne Ara Hanam, mother of senior TV news anchor and regular contributor to The Financial Express Mohiuddin Babar, died in the city on Wednesday. She was 87, says a press release.
Her Qulkhwani will be held at the Khanqa Serajia mosque, Golf Heights (beside Maasranga TV) on Airport Road in the city after Asr prayers today (Monday).
Her namaj-e-janaza was held at Azad Mosque in Gulshan on Saturday and later she was buried at Mirpur Intellectuals Graveyard.
She was the daughter of ex-zamindar of Bongaon in West Bengal late Md Baker Khan. She left behind three sons and three daughters.
