Mohammad Salim Ishtiaque Ali obtained Postgraduate Diploma in Bar Professional Training from the University of North Umbria at Newcastle, UK.

After receiving bar professional training, he became a member and was admitted into the Society of Lincoln's Inn on September 19, 2011 and called to the Bar on October 9, 2014.

Son of Khurshed Ali Mollah and Aleya Begum, Salim Ishtiaque was born in Khahoor village under Nawabganj thana of Dhaka district.
