Oishee\\\'s bail petition rejected

A Dhaka court Sunday rejected a fresh bail prayer of Oishee Rahman, arrested for her suspected involvement in her parents' gruesome murder, reports UNB.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Asaduzzaman Nur passed the order following a hearing on the bail petition filed by Oishee's lawyers. The bail petition was submitted on January 12.

With this, she has been denied bail for the fourth time.

However, the court directed the jail authorities to supply textbooks and other material to Oishee in the jail as she can take part in the O-level examination scheduled to be held in May.

On August 16, police recovered the bodies of Special Branch police inspector Mahfuzur Rahman and his wife Swapna Rahman from their Chamelibagh residence in the capital.

Later, Oishee surrendered to the police pleading her guilty to the killing.
