One arrested in connection with SI murder in city

Police arrested one of suspected killers of Gautam Roy, a sub-inspector of Bangshal police station, from old part of the city Friday night, reports UNB.
The suspected killer was identified as Ahmed Ali alias Haider alias Hadi.
A team of Sutrapur thana police led by Sergeant Mejbah Uddin raided Bhajahari Saha Street off Tipu Sultan Road at night and arrested Haider.
Briefing reporters at DMP headquarters Additional Police
Commissioner Abul Kashem said Haider confessed his involvement in the killing.
