BANDARBAN, Sept 15 (UNB): At least one person died and 30 others were attacked by diarrhoea in Manjoypara and Hepigo villages under Sadar Upazila Thursday and Friday.
Local people said the waterborne disease killed one person at Hepigo village.
Sources said five of the diarrhoea-affected people were admitted to Sadar Hospital Friday.
Acting Civil Surgeon Ching Pru Baching said two medical teams of Health Department have been working in the two affected villages since Friday.
He said necessary steps have already been taken to combat the spread of the disease.
