One held with fake notes in Sunamganj

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel in a drive arrested a man with 96 fake notes of Tk 1,000 denomination from Jamtala area of Sunamganj town on Wednesday. The arrested is Humayun Kabir Sarker, 30, son of Abbas Ali of Keshabpur village of Mymensingh. Tipped off, a team of RAB-9, led by Commanding Officer Major Mamun conducted a drive in Jamtala area and arrested Humayun Kabir along with 96 fake notes of Tk 1,000 around 7:30pm. Later, he was taken to Rab-9 office for interrogation, according to UNB.
