One held with FC at HSIA

Members of Airport Armed Police (AAP) arrested a man along with good number of foreign currencies (FC) worth about Tk 0.72 million at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in the city Tuesday night, reports UNB.

The arrestee was identified as Emdadul Haque Mollah (35).

Senior assistant police super Alamgir Hossain Shimul of AAP said, a team of the AAP challenged Emdad while he was walking suspiciously in front of arrival gate No 2 of the airport.

Later, the AAP team recovered currencies of different countries, including 27,000 Saudi riyals, 1600 Euros and 11 US dollars, after searching his body.
