One killed in road accident in Jhenidah

JHENIDAH, May 30 (BSS): A man was killed and five others were injured in a road accident in Lautala area under Kaliganj Upazila of the district Friday morning.
The dead is Nur Islam (40), son of Toraf Ali of Salemanpur village under Kotchandpur Upazila of the district.
Police said the accident occurred when a bus collided head-on with a Nosiman (locally made vehicle) in the area at about 7:00 am, leaving Nosiman passenger Nur Islam dead on the spot and five others injured.
