One to walk gallows for raping, killing girl in Dohar

A Dhaka court on Tuesday convicted and sentenced one Ziaur Rahman to death in a case lodged over the rape and subsequently murder of an adolescent girl in Dohar in 2018, reports BSS.
Judge Munshi Md Moshiar Rahman of Dhaka Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal-4 pronounced the judgment in the convict's absence, as he is yet to be arrested. The court also fined the convict Tk 200,000.
