Online application for DU admission begins

The online application process of admission tests for the first year honours courses under the academic session 2021-22 of Dhaka University (DU) started on Wednesday.

DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated the process as the chief guest at Professor Abdul Matin Virtual Classroom on the campus at 3 pm.

The online application process and fee submission will continue until May 10.

The admission test for 'Ga' unit will be held on June 3 while 'Kha' unit on June 4, 'Ka' unit on June 10, 'Gha' unit on June 11 and 'Cha' unit (general knowledge) on June 17.

The students having background in science in the SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent exams can apply for 'Ka' and 'Gha' unit entry tests if they have a total of minimum GPA 8.00 with the condition that they must have at least 3.50 in both SSC or HSC or equivalent exams.

The students having arts and commerce background in the HSC or equivalent exams can apply for 'Kha', 'Ga' and 'Gha' unit entry tests if they have a total of minimum GPA 7.5 with the condition that they must have at least 3.00 in both the SSC or HSC or equivalent exams.
