Over 0.10m BD pilgrims to perform Hajj this year

A total of 0.10 million (101,758) Bangladeshis will perform the holy Hajj this year, reports BSS.

Of them, 10,000 pilgrims will perform Hajj under government management and rest 91,758 under private management, an official said.

The parliamentary standing committee on Religious Affairs Ministry in its 11th meeting at Jatiya Sangsad with its President Bazlul Haque Harun in the chair discussed the matter alongside other issues regarding the hajj.

Among others, committee members Habibur Rahman Molla, Sadhan Chandra Barman, AKMA  Awal, Syed Nazibul Basher Maijbhandari, Md Mokbul Hossain, Mohammad Amir Hosain and Dilara Begum, were present at the meeting.
