Overhead internet, TV cables must go by 7 days in city

All overhead illegal internet and TV cables that still remained hanging from the electric poles must be removed within next 7 (seven) days in the Dhaka city, else punitive action, including filing of cases, will be taken against the offenders, reports UNB.

This decision was taken at a meeting at the Power Ministry on Thursday with State Minster for Power and Energy Nasrul Hamid in the chair. Representatives of different ministries including Power, Commerce, Information and Telecommunications were present at the meeting.
