\\\'Overstaying in job\\\' by passport dept ADG to be probed

The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has decided to investigate the allegation of overstaying in the job by tampering age in the certificates of Department of Passport and Immigration Additional Director General (ADG) Rafiqul Islam.

ACC came across the allegation during investigation of another case against Rafiqul Islam relating to amassing illegal wealth.

ACC Deputy Director Harun-or Rashid is investigating the case and now they will be investigating his overstaying in the job.

According to his certificate obtained by ACC, Rafiqul Islam was born on January 1 in 1956. As per the law, his job was supposed to end on December 31, 2014.
