Pakistan envoy calls on Speaker

Pakistan High Commissioner in Bangladesh Shuja Alam Thursday called on Jatiya Sangsad Speaker and Chairperson of executive committee of Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury at the latter's office in the city, reports BSS.

During the meeting, they discussed different aspects of parliaments of both the countries and their respective parliamentary system. The Pakistan envoy congratulated the Speaker for being elected as the Chairperson of CPA's executive committee.
