Chand Sultana Literacy Prize-2007 recipient Parul Begum, a teacher of 'Parul Apar Free Pathshala' of Taragonj under Rangpur district said, "I'm just endeavouring to make children of remote villages school-going. Pray for me so that I can further carry forward this initiative and can do something much loftier".
Paying tribute to departed teaching material developer Chand Sultana, she said, "Perhaps, I may not be able to do bigger things like her, but I believe, if all educated women come forward, there will be no illiterate child in the country".
