The Paturia-Daulatdia Padma Shetu Bastobayon Media Council was formed in a meeting at Dhanmondi in the city recently to fulfill the demand for the construction of a rail-cum highway bridge over the Padma River at Paturia-Daulatdia point in Manikgonj.
Abdul Baten, Chief Editor of Dainik Dinkal, and Mehedi Hasan Polash of Daily Inqilab have been elected president and secretary general respectively of the council.
