Peacekeepers\\\' Run programme today

To mark the International Day of UN Peacekeepers, a programme called 'Peacekeepers' Run' will be held in Dhaka and all divisional headquarters today (Sunday), says an ISPR press release.

On the occasion, a reception will be accorded to the wounded peacekeepers and family members of the martyred peacekeepers of Bangladesh at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the city.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will attend the programme as the chief guest.

Earlier, the International Day of UN Peacekeepers was observed in Bangladesh like   other countries of the world to remember the contribution of the UN peacekeepers.
