Ph.D conferred on Tawhidur

Dhaka University conferred Ph.D degree on Md Tawhidur Rahman at a syndicate meeting recently. His thesis entitled "Allama Abul Hashim's Philosophy of Life and His Contribution to Islamic Hhought" was supervised by senior professor ABM Habibur Rahman Chowdhury, Depart-ment of Islamic Studies, DU.
The examiners of his thesis were Professor AFM Aminul Haque, Department of Islamic Studies, CU and Md Shahidullah, former professor of department of Islamic Studies, University of Calcutta.
He is the-youngest son of late Md Amzad Hossain Bhuiyan (Fatik Master) and Rajabunnesa of village Dattergaon Modhapara. PO Dattergaon under Narsingdi district.
