PHP director Nasimul Kamal passes away

CHITTAGONG, Jan 6: Researcher of Liberation War, veteran freedom fighter and senior executive director of the PHP Group of Industries AKM Nasimul Kamal died in the early hours of Tuesday.

He was critically injured in a road accident in the city's Kazir Dewri area on January 4. He succumbed to his injuries at a clinic at 3.30 am Tuesday, according a PHP press release.

His namaj-e-janaja held at Jamiatul Falah mosque in the city was attended by Aolade Rasul Allama Sayed Md Taher Shah, former home minister Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir and chairman of the PHP Family Sufi Md Mizanur Rahman, among others.

He was buried at his family graveyard in Feni district Tuesday.
