Physically-challenged student passes JSC exam defying odds

SIRAJGANJ, Jan 02 (UNB): Defying all odds a physically-challenged student has passed this year's Junior School Certificate (JSC) examination writing answers with his mouth as his both arms are paralysed.
Ishwar Kumar Sutradhar appeared at the JSC examination from Khandakar Abdul Mazid High School in Ullapara upazila and secured GPA-2.29, said school headmaster Nikhil Chandra Ghosh.
The results of JSC and equivalent examinations were published on Saturday.
Son of Prafulla Kumar Sutradhar of Paikpara village in the upazila, Ishwar is the youngest among three siblings with his only brother being a day-labourer.
He has been unable to move his arms since the birth while his two legs are also weak. He has to move with the help of others.
Ishwar lost his mother in his tender age while his father is also sick. The schoolboy is now staying at his elder sister's house.
