Palli Karma Sohayak Foundation (PKSF) requests people not to panic in purchasing and taking sacrificial cattle meat as in the PKSF-financed farms harmful medicines or steroid hormones are not used.
In a press release the PKSF said Wednesday they guide and do have monitoring in cattle rearing at the farms they financed.
But, it adds, currently a good number of businesspeople are engaged in cattle rearing and "some of them illegally inject harmful steroid hormones into cattle body".
The PKSF press release noted that to avoid use of steroid hormone the High Court has issued a rule against use of steroid hormone in any cattle-rearing farm.
"The cattle in which harmful steroids are used usually sleep, sit idle all day long and look weak," it said on a note of caution about the hazard.
The PKSF advised all not to get panicked in purchasing and taking meat of the healthy cattle from the PKSF-financed cattle farms.
