JAKARTA, Apr 23 (BSS): Afro-Asian leaders in the fourth plenary session on the second day of the Asian-African Summit here discussed strategies on Thursday to overcome common challenges and accelerate the pace of economic development in both continents through stronger South-South cooperation.
Officials said the Summit is expected to conclude with three outcomes, namely the Bandung Message, the reinvigoration of the NAASP and the declaration on Asian and African nations' support for Palestine.
Prime Minister (PM) of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina and Prime Minister of Egypt Ibrahim Mehbub were the co-chairs of the fourth plenary session.
