Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Saturday expressed deep shock at the death of Sheikh Aliuzzaman Rashu Mian, the president of Tungipara Poura Awami League in Gopalganj, reports BSS.
In a condolence message, the Prime Minister said the Awami League has lost a tested and dedicated leader in his death.
Sheikh Hasina prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Rashu Mian died of old-age complications at his residence in Tungipara on July 23 at the age of 75.
He left behind his wife, five sons and a daughter as well as a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
