PM goes to Patuakhali today

Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina will visit Patuakhali today (Thursday) to commission the newly-built training base of Bangladesh Coast Guard 'CG Base Agrajatra', reports UNB.

The PM will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of a number of development projects there.

Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the infrastructural development of Patuakhali Pourashava under UGIIP-2 project, Uttar Karkhana government primary school cum cyclone shelter at Baufol, RCC Girder Bridge on Khaprabhanga UP-Dabluganj Hat Road at Kalapara, Chotto Charkajal government primary school cum cyclone shelter at Galachipa and Kochabunia government primary school cum cyclone shelter at Patuakhali Sadar.

The PM will also lay the foundation stones of Ansar and VDP Battalion Headquarter at Kolapara, construction of hostel for government Shishu Paribar (girls), construction of female police barrack building at Patuakhali police lines, construction of Gahinkhali Bazar cum cyclone shelter and connecting road at Rangabalii, construction of Sabupura 10-bed women and children welfare center at Baufol, construction of two-storey building with six-storey foundation at Patuakhali Sadar police station and construction of fire service and civil defense stations at Dashmina in Patuakhlai district.
