PM hands over National Film Award today

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will hand over the National Film Award-2013 to the winners in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the country's film industry today (Saturda) reports UNB.
The award giving function will be held at 4:00 pm at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in Dhaka.
Earlier on March 10, the government announced to give the National Film Award-2013 to 25 artistes and film professionals.
The awardees are: Lifetime achievement- Sarah Begum Kabori, Best film- Mrittika Maya produced by Gazi Rakayet and Faridur Reza Sagor, Best documentary film- Shunte Ki Pao produced by Sara Afrin, best director- Gazi Rakayet for Mrittika Maya, best actor- Titash Zia (Mrittika Maya), best actress- Mousumi (Debdas) and Sharmi Mala (Mrittika Maya), best side actor- Raisul Islam Asad (Mrittika Maya), best side actress- Arpana (Mrittika Maya), best villain- Mamunur Rashid (Mrittika Maya), best child actress- Swachchha (Eki Britte), best child actress (special award)- Syeda Ahida Sabrina (Ontardhan), best music director- AK Azad (Mrittika Maya) and (Purnadoirghya Prem Kahini), best singer male- Chandan Sinha (Purnadoirghya Prem Kahini), best singer female- Runa Laila and Sabina Yasmin (Debdas), best songwriter- Kabir Bakul (Purnadoirghya Prem Kahini), best lyricist-Koushik Hossain Tapas (Purnadoirghya Prem Kahini), best storywriter, best dialogue and best playwright- Gazi Rakayet (Mrittika Maya), best editor- Shariful Islam Rasel (Mrittika Maya), best art director-Uttam Guha (Mrittika Maya), best photographer- Saiful Islam Badal (Mrittika Maya), best sounder- Kazi Selim (Mrittika Maya), best costume and decoration- Wahida Mallik Joly (Mrittika Maya) and best makeup man Ali Babul (Mrittika Maya).
