PM hosts dinner for artists, crew of Bangabandhu biopic ‘Mujib’

Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina on Friday hosted a dinner at Ganobhaban in honour of the artists and crew of biopic of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman 'Mujib: The Making of a Nation' (Mujib:Ekti Jatir Rupakar), reports UNB.

During the dinner, the premier exchanged pleasantries with the invited guests and inquired of their wellbeing, said PM's Deputy Press Secretary KM Shakhawat Moon.

Sheikh Hasina urged those concerned to produce such films in the future so that the new generation can know the history properly.

She directed the concerned people to renovate and reopen the cinema halls, which were shut down in different districts of the country.
