PM praises professionalism of Special Security Force

Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina highly praised the competence, devotion, dutifulness and loyalty of the members of the Special Security Force (SSF), saying professionalism of the force has already been acclaimed at home and abroad, reports BSS.
"Members of the force are performing their duties of protection of the VVIPs very efficiently. Their loyalty, professionalism and efficiency are praiseworthy," she said.
She urged the SSF members to ensure the security of the VVIPs without creating any distance with people.
"Not creating any distance, but keeping link with people normal, you have to ensure security of the VIPs," she said while addressing the members of the force at her Tejgaon office marking the 28th founding anniversary of the force Sunday.
The PM hoped that SSF members, like past, would show their utmost loyalty and professionalism while discharging their duties with honesty, sincerity in future. She assured of continuing modernisation of the force.
It may be mentioned that President Security Force (PSF) was founded in 1986 for protection of the heads of the government and state and other VIPs. Later, the force was renamed as SSF, which is constituted of members of armed forces, police and Ansar.
Director General of SSF Major General Sheikh Mohammad Aman Hasan also spoke on the occasion.
PM's security adviser major general (retd) Tarique Ahmed Siddiqui, PM's principal secretary Abdus Sobhan Sikder, chiefs of three services, Inspector General of Police, Director General of Ansar and senior civil and military officials were present.
