PM shocked

Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina expressed her deep shock and sorrow on Sunday at the death of her Assignment Officer Md Rakib Hossain, reports UNB.

Meanwhile, the PM visited the residence of Md Rakib, also an assistant secretary of Awami League Central Sub-Committee, at Ganobhaban quarters in the morning.

Rakib Hossain, former president of Gopalganj district Chhatra League and ex-general secretary of Goplalganj Bangabandhu College Students Union, died of heart attack Saturday night. He was 43.

He is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter as well as a host of relatives and well-wishers.
