PM to open 3rd Buriganga Setu on Dec 29

The Shaheed Buddhijibi Setu (3rd Buriganga Bridge) at the Bachila point of Mohammadpur area will be opened to traffic on December 29, reports BSS.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the 708 metre long bridge, constructed at a cost of around Tk 840.9 million (84.09 crore) with financial support of Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFED), Communications Minister Syed Abul Hossain said today.
While visiting the bridge site, the minister said the bridge would make the communication easier between Dhaka City and Bachila side by side with bringing immense economic benefits for the area.
