Police arrests 1,119 persons on various charges

Police, in separate drives across the country, arrested 1,119 persons on various charges during last 24 hours until 6:00 am Thursday, reports UNB.
During the drives, 16 firearms, one bomb and 31 rounds of bullet were also recovered, said a handout.
Besides, 64 motorcycles were seized for not having valid documents. 300 cases were filed in this connection.
