Police recovered three bodies including a Romanian man from different areas at Savar on Monday and Saturday last, reports UNB.

Police recovered the bodies of a newlywed couple from a house at Hemayetpur Harindhara at Savar, on the outskirts of the capital on Monday.

The deceased were identified as Mohamamd Ali, 22, and his wife Rumi Khatun, 16, of Salanchar in Kazipur upazila of Sirajganj district.

They had gotten married only three days ago, locals said.

Police said locals found their bodies hanging from the ceiling of the house. Police recovered the bodies and sent them to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital.

Ali was a college student and Rumi worked at a readymade garment factory. Locals claimed they killed themselves after failing to get consent of their families.

Akhil Khandaker, a sub-inspector at Savar Model Police Station, said they were waiting for the postmortem report to learn about the real reason behind the deaths.

Meanwhile, a Romanian man was found dead at the Dhamrai factory of Akij Food and Beverage Limited on Saturday.

Police identified him as Niculae Manea, 60.

Manea, appointed by German company FAS, had been working at the factory for the last 13 years, said Dipak Kumar Saha, officer-in-charge of Dhamrai Police Station.

His body was recovered from the factory's guesthouse where he used to live, Dipak said.

Police and factory workers said the Romanian had gone back to his room on the first floor of the guesthouse after dinner on Friday and did not show up for work the next day.
