Police recovered 2,190 bottles of Phensidyl and another 340 bottles of intoxicating syrup and also arrested eight people from Chapainawabganj, Dinajpur and Comilla Sunday, reports UNB.
In Chapainawabganj, police, acting on a tip-off, recovered 1,700 bottles of Indian Phensidyl syrup from a truck at Laxanpur under Nachole Upazila. They also arrested driver Abul Kalam Azad and seized the truck.
