A man working as a source for law enforcers has been knifed and shot dead, police say, reports bdnews24.com.
Aslam Miah, 55, was found dead in his home at Jatrabari's Dhania around 11pm Saturday, said SI Emran Hossain.
Several men had come to Miah's home at noon and left in the evening.
Later, the members of his family found him lying covered in a blanket and found his blood-drenched body when they removed it, said SI Imran.
Police recovered the body that bore bullet and knife wounds and sent it to the Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
