Police Week begins today-

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Baharul Alam on Monday said the three-day Police Week 2025 will begin today (Tuesday), focusing on promoting a discrimination-free Bangladesh through professional and effective policing, reports UNB.

Addressing a press conference at the Foreign Service Academy ahead of the Police Week, IGP Alam said the event would be inaugurated with a speech by Chief Adviser (CA) Prof Muhammad Yunus to the police members at Rajarbagh police lines in the city.

This year's theme is "Amar Police Amar Desh, Boishommyohin Bangladesh" (My Police, My Country, and Discrimination-Free Bangladesh).
