Police yet to trace missing NSU teacher

Police are yet to trace North South University (NSU) teacher Dr Mobashwer Hossain who went missing on Tuesday, reports UNB.

Anwar Hossain, deputy commissioner (Motijheel Division) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, said although they are yet to find out Dr Mobashwer Hossain progress has been made in the investigation.

Law enforcers are trying their best to find out the teacher, he said.

Motahar Hossain, father of Dr Mobashwer Hossain, an assistant professor of the Faculty of Social Science of the university, filed a general diary with Khilgaon Police Station in connection with his missing.

According to the GD, Dr Mobashwer, did not return home since he left his house on Tuesday morning for the university.

Another report adds: Shushashoner Jonno Nagorik (Shujan) on Thursday voiced concern over the disappearance of Dr Mubashwer Hasan, an assistant professor of School of Humanities and Social Sciences at North South University.

In a joint statement, Shujan president M Hafizuddin Khan and its secretary Dr Badiul Alam Majumder said it is the government's responsibility to ensure the security of all citizens.

And the duty of law-enforcement agencies is to find out all the missing people and send them back to their families, they said.
