Policeman wounded in bomb attack in city

Monwar Hossain (No 17327), a police constable, was wounded in a bomb attack in the city's Judge Court area Thursday night, reports UNB.

Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) sources said some unknown attackers hurled bombs on police constable Monwar Hossain while he was on duty on the court premises at about 11:30pm.

He received splinter wounds in his throat and chest. He was first rushed to National Hospital and later shifted him to DMCH where his condition was stated to be critical.
