President for making govt audit management more transparent, accountable

President Iajuddin Ahmed urged the Comptroller and Auditor General of Bangladesh to take steps for making government's audit management more transparent and accountable, reports UNB.
The President said this when Comptroller and Auditor General of Bangladesh Asif Ali met him at Bangabhaban Tuesday.
He also asked the authorities concerned to remain careful so that no government employee faces any harassment in getting their pension and other financial benefits after their retirement.
Asif Ali apprised the President of the activities of his office and expressed his gratitude to the President for his all-out cooperation in discharging his duties.
Secretary to the President M Sirajul Islam and Press Secretary Abdul Awal Hawlader were present on the occasion.
