Prof Abdur Rob joins NSU as treasurer

Prof Abdur Rob Khan has joined North South University (NSU) as treasurer, says a press release.

President Mohammed Shahabuddin, also chancellor of the university, appointed him treasurer recently.

He took charge of the office at a function on Sunday. Chairman of NSU board of trustees and vice-chancellor of the university, among others, attended the function.

Professor Khan, a distinguished academician, completed his bachelor's and master's degree in Economics from the University of Dhaka. He obtained a PhD in International Relations from the University of Kent at Canterbury, UK.

Before joining NSU, Professor Rob Khan held an impressive 28-year research career at the Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS).
