Minister for Housing and Public Works Engr Mosharaf Hossain said celebrities like National Professor Dr Nurul Islam never die, reports UNB.

"Dr Nurul Islam was a great son of the soil and a globally acclaimed medical scientist and physician, and he would be always remembered as a popular reference in medical science," he said.

The Minister made the comment while speaking as the chief guest at a programme at the USTC (University of Science and Technology Chittagong) Auditorium in Chittagong Saturday, marking the 86th birth and first death anniversary of National Professor and founder vice chancellor and chairman of USTC Dr Nurul Islam. It was jointly organised by Janasheba Foundation and USTC.
