National Professor Salahuddin Ahmed
National Professor Salahuddin Ahmed died of old age complications at his residence Sunday.He was 92, reports UNB. Prof Salahuddin was born in 1922 in Faridpur.
He started his teaching profession in 1948 as a lecturer at Government Jagannath College. He was a lecturer and later professor of history at Rajshahi University.
BSS report adds: President Md Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Sunday expressed deep shock at the death of National Professor Salahuddin Ahmed.
