Prof Shahidullah reappointed UGC chairman

Prof Kazi Shahidullah has been reappointed as the Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC) for the second term, says a press release.
He signed the joining letter on Sunday.
The education ministry issued a notification confirming his appointment for the next four years on May 25.
Prior to his appointment as UGC chairman, he served as professor in History Department at Dhaka University. He obtained his PhD degree from Australia.
