The Primary and Ebtedayee Terminal Examinations-2014 began across the country Sunday, reports UNB.
The examinations were held in 6,791 centres across the country.
A total of 27,88,544 students from schools and 3,05,721 from madrasahs took part in the examinations.
Of the school examinees, 12,82,079 are boys and 15,06,465 girls.
Among the madrasah candidates, 1,57,448 are boys and 1,48,283 girls.
The examinations will be held every day from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm.
The examinations are scheduled to end on November 30.
