The 13th death anniversary of businessman, producer, director and cameraman Mr QM Zaman was observed Thursday with due solemnity, says a press release.
QM Zaman was the first Chief Cameraman of Film Development Corporation (FDC) and was the Cameraman of the first commercial film of this country 'Mukh - 0 - Mukhosh' in 1958.
He was one of the pioneers in the development of the film industry of the then East Pakistan. He was the cameraman of 70 films during his lifetime.
A milad-mahfil was held at his ancestral home, 'Shaheb Bari', Hajiganj after Asr prayers to mark the occasion.
