Question paper leaked at JU admission test, 5 detained

The administration Jahangirnagar University (JU) has detained at least five students for their alleged connection over question paper of the ongoing admission test leaked on Saturday.

During the third shift admission test at 12 noon, the on duty teacher Golam Rabbani held Abdullah-Al-Noman from new arts faculty (room-227) red handed.

The victim Abdullah confessed his guilty as he was answering the questions with the assistance of his mobile phone's SMS delivered from outside.

Following his information another three admission seekers Erab Rakat from Dhaka College, Md Shahnewaj from Chuwadanga and Mehedi Hasan from Barisal was held.

All detained confessed that, Raihan Ali, Pharmacy department student at Dafodill International University and some others students of JU helped them in exchange of Tk.0.2 million.

Proctor of the university Dr Mujibur Rahamn said, "Exemplary punishment must be provided to all who are involved with the incidents after investigation."
