The qulkhwani of Hajja Syeda Suraiya Begum, wife of seventh gaddinshin pir of Miasaheber Maidan Khanquah Sharif (situated at Luxmi Bazar of old city) Alhaj Hazrat Shah Sufi Maulana Ahmadullah ® and grandmother of present pir Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Ahmadur Rahim, was observed on the dargah premises after Asr prayers on Wednesday, said a press release.
She died at a city hospital at 5.00pm on Sunday last due to old-age complications at the age of 92 and was buried at the family graveyard on the mazar premises at 9.00pm the same day.
