The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested three persons with 12kg hashish from their possession during a drive in the Uttara area in the capital on Friday.
The arrestees were identified as Md Mithun Ali (30), son of Md Khairul Islam, Md Polash (30), son of Ketabur Ali, and Md Idul Hossain (36), son of late M Rahman hailing from Chapainawabganj district.
Assistant Director (Media) of RAB-1 Assistant Police Superintendent Noman Ahmad disclosed it to the media. He said that a team of RAB arrested them during a drive near the bus counter in the Abdullahpur area in the city.
