RAB arrest youth with 5,200 Yaba tablets

COX'S BAZAR, Feb 3 (UNB): Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a young man along with 5,200 pieces of Yaba tablets from the Link Road area in Sadar Upazila on Friday night.

The arrestee is Shah Alam (25), son of late Sona Miah hailing from Alikadam Upazila of Bandarban district.

On information, a team of Chittagong RAB-7 conducted a drive in the area around 11:00 pm and arrested the youth along with the contraband tablets worth Tk 2.6 million.

The arrestee was handed over to Cox's Bazar Police Station.
