DINAJPUR, July 27 (UNB): Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) seized a truck loaded with Indian clothes worth over Tk 2.5 million (25 lakh) from Motihara in Ghoraghat Upazila here Thursday.
Acting on secret information, the elite force of Joypurhat camp seized the truck loaded with 65 sacks of Indian sari, salwar kameez and panjabi in the early morning.
The truck driver and smugglers fled away leaving the truck sensing the presence of RAB.
RAB sources said the smugglers were carrying the clothes from Hili border to the capital. A case was filed in this connection.
