Rafique obtains PhD degree

Md Rafiqul Islam Mir, Principal of Bangladesh Institute of Glass and Ceramics, Tejgaon in the city, has recently obtained the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Honolulu, USA.

He was under supervision of Dr Abdur Razzak for the thesis of Technical and Vocational Education in Bangladesh: New Roles and Challenges for the 21st Century through Institute of Resource Management, Dhaka.

Dr Rafiq is the eldest son of late Md Tazul Islam Mir of Rupshi, Rupgonj in Narayanganj district, said a press release.
