Rain likely in two divs today

Rain/thunder showers is likely to occur at many places over Khulna and Barisal divisions; at a few places over Dhaka and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions until 06:00 pm today (Thursday), according to the Met Office.

Moderate to thick fog may occur over the country during night to morning and it may continue until 12:00noon at places. Mild cold wave is sweeping over the districts of Pabna, Chuadanga, Barishal and Moulvibazar and it may abate.

The highest temperature in the country on Wednesday was recorded at 26.8 degrees Celsius in Teknaf of Cox's Bazar while the lowest temperature 9.4 degrees Celsius in Bandarban.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 18.2 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 13.1 degrees.
